It appears that a certain individual called Chuvi became somewhat of a nuisance....messing with passwords etc. on the site, and consequently it has been pulled. On the posted message at the link is his email addy for concerned individuals to express their displeasure with his meddling. Keep it 'civil', but make it unmistakable...;/
Over 4000 files didn't survive the transfer.....so affected people are being mailed with a list of 'dead files' and have a month to re-upload the affected works and retain comments, etc.....before the database is cleaned of still-dead links. If you are affected or may be....duck on over and check yer stuff.....just in case...
Both of these suites have been updated and improved. Main focus on improvement/s has been with support for Current Winamp 2.91 features and for the Full XP-compatible Windowblinds features of WB 4. Logika is available at http://www.pixtudio.com/index.php?page=suite&SuiteID=537 and UniMet [UniverseMetal] is at http://www.pixtudio.com/index.php?page=suite&SuiteID=574 Those current users who have inadvertently filed their serial under 'M' for 'Missplace' should contact support@p...

'What is it?', I hear you ask... Well, it's a word in the Library list, but that's not important right now.... What IS important is that it's a great new proggy that is quite versatile...can be a simple analogue clock or a full-featured system monitoring interface....it's all up to you, the skinner. A vary talented coder by the name of Xymantix [Nicholas] came up with this proggy, and being a skinner as well, made sure it would be a joy to skin.... ...and it is.. https://www.winc...

[Don't bother leaving comments on it.......I'm really not interested in trolling for them, and this upload is for 'reference' only, and not a legitimate 'Submission'] The problem that we, as on-line artists face is the ready availability of extensive sources of media for quick down...

"The program features the following: retouch tools; built-in conventional and adaptive filters for noise reduction and edge extraction; red-eye removal; user-specified filters in spatial and frequency domain; resize, rotate, crop and warping of images; and scanner, camera and printer support. It supports reading and writing of BMP, ICO, CUR, WMF, EMF, JPEG, PNG, PCX and JPEG 2000 images. It supports the reading of RAS, PNM, PGM, PPM, HIPS and Matlab files." Sounds like fun....anot...
For those eager to modify/alter everything they can...here's another tool for fun.... All sorts of 'tools' exist for manipulating your Windows Experience. I can't say I've used this one....[can't even remember which proggy I used to make my own custom cursors that I still always use - was a fair few years ago now]... but it looks like it's worth a 'go' ....
Recently Zoomba posted he had just reached 5 years with Stardock...and it got me thinking about when I started fiddling with OS Customizing [originally on sites such as Customize.org and Litestep.com ...and later skinz.org]. The first 'release' of Litestep I came across was called 'b21' or more accurately 1.0 b21 dated 25 March, 1998 ....though the first I actually messed with was b23 a little time after that....but probably just on 10 years ago. Litestep was thought up by a guy...

Two Million, eight hundred and ninety thousand plus results......that's almost one per each site member [well, a wee bit more than one per]. There was a time when 'googling' Wincustomize might just have popped up one question...."did you mean 'wincustomise'?"..... How things have changed.... http://jjying.wincustomize.com/
