Having been an Official for MotoGP for 23 years someone decided I'd be suitable fodder to drive in the Riders' Parade last Sunday before the GrandPrix at Phillip Island [Australia].... ...so this is the one I drove... BMW M235i ...about 320hp 8 speed in-line 6 turbo ...bit 'wasted' when we were putting around at 50kph [30mph]. Fortunately it didn't rain during the parade so the roof was down [as it SHOULD be on a convertible] ... So.... What do you do in that time no-one pays ...

I have 4 computers running Windows 10. On all 4 I've either avoided by deferring and/or simply not been in the rollout of the Anniversary Update yet. So I decided to treat [?] Terry to the new and 'improved' Win 10 and loaded it on hers via me 'forcing' the update. And all worked fine....even improved some graphics glitches [as in eliminated them, not made them bigger]. So... A niece's computer is 'entertaining' me. It's Win 10 [need I say more].... I had this idea to boot into safe mode to do an sfc /scannow... as there appears to be 'issues'. Now, getting into safe mode isn't the problem....did that....as far as the login. Dunno what the password is.... "Fuck it", I said "I'll reboot back to 'normal'. So I reboot.... ...and I'm back at the safe mode login. Yes, there are ways to hold shift...while ...

My 'mean' machine chucked a wobbly on Saturday.... Dunno what happened, but those wonderful BSODs referenced 'asmtxhci.sys' which is an ASUS USB3 driver. I have a vague feeling it might have been caused by plugging in a mem card reader earlier that day. Being a 'devoted' user of  True Image 15, I had incremental backups of the OS and a last full one that dated to Wednesday ... which is ultimately what I restored to. Being clever, I also have in place ever...
