Oh, dear....I kept a lookout and still missed it by a day.... I joined Wincustomize.com on March 21, 2001 ..... and that would have been effectively 'Day One' for the site publicly. Ah, time flies when you're having fun.... Congrats to Wincustomize.com and thankyou, Stardock, for giving us all somewhere to 'play' .....

It's "that time" again when I get the chance to announce the list of latest promotees as determined by the Wincustomize.com crew of devoted Mods.     I'm going to deviate from my normal system and point out one particular person whose elevation was due largely/particularly from her involvement in the promotion and establishment of our newest Gallery, - Rainmeter .  Thankyou, Karen [ Karmat ].  And congratulations to you all.        ...

The 'crew' at Wincustomize.com are pleased to announce our latest Master, Reppiks. Ray has been 'around' quite some time in the world of skinning, having been here just on a week over 8 years, in fact. Even when he's not here he's away Modding at Skinartistry so skinning's definitely in his blood.   Reppiks hasn't  been around of late as much as we'd all like as he's not overly well, so I won't force him to be the tea lady [er man] for a day as would otherwise be the case.....

It's likely it'll be penned by one or other of the 2 new members of our household.... Tilly and Tessa. My DVD burner died in my current/new machine. I know they're built to a price, not a quality...but I figure I've used it no more than a few dozen times in its life....but it studiously waited 'long enough' to be out of warranty. They shouldn't kark it that easily. I have the computer [i7-920 12gig and XFX 1g GTX285] ....I have the racing sims [GTR, GTR2, GTL, GT Evo, NetKar, GP4, rFactor, NFSU, TestDrive Unlimited] and....I already have the wheel/pedals [G25]....
